What are your hours of operation?
We are normally opened Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 9 pm. As a State of Montana Agency Franchise Liquor Store we are required to be closed on Sundays and official state holidays.
Those holidays are: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Can you special order products?
Generally “yes”. We carry more than 2,500 different products of spirits, and over 1,500 personally curated wines; however, as hard as we try we don’t carry everything. Usually we can special order a product for our customers. It can take anywhere from a few days to several weeks to receive a special order, but we are more than happy to try and help meet your needs. Also, we are always open to carrying new items so please let us know if you can't find something of interest.
Do you sell any local Montana products?
Yes, we have an entire section of the store dedicated to showcasing products made in Montana. It is called 'Section 406' and it features products from all 17 of Montana’s distilleries. We also have wines made in Montana. There is a section of our website dedicated to providing more information – Section 406.
Do you offer discounts?
We do offer case discounts on large purchases. A case discount is 5%. For wine a case can be any 12 bottles of wine purchased at the same time. The number of bottles in a case varies for liquor, but the purchase must be 1 case of the same item for the discount to apply.
Also, items go on sale each month. Typically, we have more than 250 items on sale each month. Those items are marked in the store with a red tag.
Lastly, members of our Buffalo Nickel Rewards program earn 5% towards future purchases on each transaction. Those points can be redeemed at anytime.
Can you help me plan for a wedding, party or large event?
Absolutely. We have a great team of people who can help plan your wine and spirits needs for a wedding, dinner party, office gathering or any other type of event. We can help both with the product selection and estimating the quantity you’ll need. We work with all of the local venues that host parties, and can arrange to deliver any purchase to the site of your event. Please come in and visit or call the store anytime during our normal hours to let us help you plan for your special event.
Can I return or exchange products that I have purchased in the store?
Both State of Montana and Federal law prohibit the return of alcoholic beverages. As such, our store policy is that all sales are final. However, if a bottle of wine is corked when you open it, please bring it back for a replacement bottle.
Do you ship or deliver?
It is against State law to ship alcohol. For local deliveries, we only deliver to customers that hold a liquor license or to special event facilities. If, however, you want to send a gift to a friend in town (or anywhere in the United States) we can mail gift cards and are happy to handle your request over the telephone.
